This book contains challenging pattern for anybody who wants to do something else then the usual cable. I had to come use to reading the pattern, but the book has a guide to the symbols used and fotos to show what to do. Definitely not for the beginner, but very interesting stitch combinations as knitting books from Japan are not readily available. Great addition to any library.

I have had a copy of this book in Japanese for 2 or 3 years. It is the most amazing collection of stitch patterns you can imagine. It is so wonderful that a NON-knitting friend said she'd like to have a copy, just to look at the pictures! My imagination spins its wheels when I look at the patterns; there are so many and where to start? I can hardly imagine how great it will be in translation. I'm ordering a copy right now!!!
