Listen to an Audio Review Tea Cozies by the Guild of Master Craftsman $8.97 Retail: $14.95 40% off
Since my teapot plays an important role in keeping me snug and warm during these rainy winter months, I think it deserves to be cozy too. And since cozies are pretty small, look easy to make, and have irresistible pattern names like Wooly Mammoth and Green Goddess, maybe I’ll even make two or three- one for everyday chai tea-pouring, one for English Breakfast themed tea parties, and maybe one in case the Queen ever stops by for spot of Lady Grey.

Felted Bag Pattern
Once I’ve conquered my one skein felting project, I think I’ll take on this adorable felted bag. Five skeins of Wool of the Andes in luscious Iris Heather will only set me back $9.95, and I’m confident Debbie Bliss Home will show me the way.

I can’t wait to create my own custom colors using this creamy, super-soft yarn and Kool-Aid®! Since it’s unbleached, it’s also going to be perfect for my felting projects. I wonder what color I should try first- Slammin’ Kiwi-Strawberry or Grape Berry Splash… Kool-Aid® dyeing tutorial
As a relatively new knitter, I don’t quite have the patience or skill for intricate sweaters or yards of scarves. These One Skein projects look perfect for someone with my attention span and knitting know-how. And I can’t wait to learn how to felt! Learning to felt is my knitting New Year’s resolution for 2008.
