Directions for this project in The Best of Interweave Knits. Named for The Threepenny Opera by Kurt Weill, there's a lot to love in this sweater designed by Veronik Avery. In characteristic fashion, Veronik has adapted a classic Aran design, giving it dressmaker details by using an assortment of delicate stitches, a curved hem with side slits, and a rounded neckline edged with extensions knitted onto the tops of the sleeves. The DK weight of Merino Style yields the ideal gauge of five stitches to the inch without having to double strand, making this quicker and easier to knit than you might expect. Shown in Moss Green.
Needles: Sizes 7 and 8: circular or straight
