Cabled Blanket Coat Pattern

Directions for this project in Scottish Highland Knits, shown below. This traditional Scottish sweater is the best of both worlds, a comfy blanket with sleeves to make it easy to wrap around your body when you catch a chill. The body is worked in one piece, starting at the right front opening edge and moving through the bodice, placing stitches for sleeves on hold for late use. The simple all-over cable pattern is a slip 4 to cable needle, k4, then k4 from cable needle. A guaranteed delight for any loved one or friend. Shown in Swish DKDusk.
