Directions for this project in Selbuvotter, Biography of a Knitting Tradition, shown below. This beautiful design would make an excellent first Selbu glove project. Using the same pattern for the fingers and thumb simplifies things for the knitter, and the selburose is morphed into a stylized snowflake, with limited stretches of a single color. That means no long floats to worry about. Feel free to modify the finger and thumb lengths to suit the wearer. Shown in Palette Green Tea Heather (MC) and Eggplant (CC).- Needles:
